"I am a man entirely without religious faith, and yet for me the establishment, the very existence of the State of Israel, is a miracle of sorts that happened to us as a people - a political, national, human miracle."
David Grossman, novelist

Celebrating the past, living a vibrant present, and conjuring up creative visions for a common future.

Thoughts on Aliyah and Israel

New Immigrants Proudly Display Their Israeli Identity Cards

For some, aliyah is the ultimate expression of their Jewishness, to others, aliyah means living according to one's cultural heritage.  From the non-stop singles scene of Tel Aviv to communal scenic living on a Moshav in the North,  Israel is many things for many people.  Some make aliyah and find themselves happily acclimated in a year while for others the process of feeling fully integrated might take ten. For some it is a dynamic often changing process while others are so busy living they don’t think about it. Below is a chance to hear their stories and to peek in to how they settled in, found jobs, brought their children on aliyah or to hear why they did it. There are articles to help you understand how Israel works and a section of articles on aliyah that has made the news.
