The Jewish Agency for Israel, in conjunction with Israel's Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, will be holding employment conferences in NY on December 7th, one of 7 conferences being held across North America in Boston; Chicago; Toronto; San Francisco; Miami; DC and Montréal.

The conference will focus on employment opportunities in Israel, new tax incentives for immigrants and returning Israelis, tuition-free higher education grants for new immigrants, internship and volunteering opportunities.

The delegation will include employment counselors from Israel as well as tax advisors and university representatives. Senior Government officials as the Director General of the Ministry of finance, Mr. Yarom Ariav and the Consul General, Mr. Asaf Shariv will participate in the event in New City on December 7th at UJA  Federation.

Liran Avisar, the representative of the Jewish Agency’s Aliyah department: “The economic crisis has spurred increased interest in employment opportunities in Israel. A large number of New Immigrants and Israelis in the US have recently inquired into making Aliyah or returning to Israel.  We are privileged to host a team of leading Israelis experts specializing in employment, health insurance, higher education and the new tax reform in order to answer pertinent questions of those considering living in Israel these days.”
