A Keren Hayesod delegation from Holland paid a visit on November 4th to the Jewish Agency Sapir Absorption Center in Kiryat Yam. They listened to heartwarming singing by immigrant children from the first and second grades. The children sang traditional Israeli folk songs that so enraptured the guests that they immediately joined in singing and dancing with the children.
.
An embroidery club takes place at the absorption center for school children where the children acquire fine motor skills, develop their creativity, and learn how to identify Jewish symbols.
During the course of their visit, the guests listened to an overview about the absorption process for Ethiopian immigrants and the activities of the absorption center from Ms. Ruthie Cohen, the director of the absorption center . The delegation then joined an artistic program put on by a circle of drummers.

The donors pay a visit to the computer class of the Etgarim club.
The Etgarim program is a program for teaching computer skills to children and their parents together. This allows the child and his parents to experience an empowering learning experience and helps reduce the educational generation gap between the children and their parents.
In addition the delegation visited children's (afternoon) enrichment programs and displayed particular interest in the Etgarim (challenges) and embroidery clubs.
