Rabin Memorial Ceremony at Sapir Absorption Center

November 12, 2008 / 14 Chesvan 5769

120 immigrants from the Jewish Agency Sapir Absorption Center in Kiryat Yam gathered together to mark the 13th Memorial Day since the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

Among the participants were immigrants hailing from the FSU, Brazil, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Ethiopia.

As part of the service to commemorate Rabin, the immigrants learned about his life, were taught the national anthem and lit candles in his memory.
