About Us

Partnering the Jewish world with the people of Israel is vital to securing the promise of our future. Nothing is more powerful than the impact of our collective action.

But more than a platform for effecting change or producing tangible results, our partnership gives shape to our peoplehood and expression to our shared values. Notwithstanding the miles and oceans and experiences that separate us, we are indeed one nation. And Israel stands at the heart of that nation.

But today, ongoing challenges that threaten Israel from within may represent an even more serious long-term threat to our future. At the Jewish Agency, we are committed to addressing increased disparities in economic and geographic advantage, in education and equal opportunity. Our work revolves around creating an Israel where every young person can move beyond disadvantage to actualize their potential; and every community can move from the fringes to the heart of Israel's growth.

Our commitment to settle for nothing less requires us to identify innovative approaches that maximize our impact. That’s why we are taking our partnerships to the next level. Intensifying opportunities that engage world Jewry with the people of Israel to effect transformative change. People-to-people and community-to-community opportunities. Creating new paradigms that bring Israeli philanthropists to the table. Utilizing volunteers as agents of change. Solidifying bridges that breathe life into our peoplehood.
